Among Women 227: The Life of Prayer and Good Works

This latest episode of Among Women delves into the every day life of a believer… that it must be grounded in both the  interior life — the life of prayer — and the call to do good works. In our saint segment, I explain the faith story of St. Tabitha of Joppa found in the Acts of the Apostles, chapter 9. Tabitha was a disciple described by her good works — specifically supporting widows. Plus in our conversation segment, I have a lively discussion with author Julie Davis about praying every day and growing in friendship with Jesus. Together we explore themes from her new book, Seeking Jesus in Every Day Life. (Not gonna lie, I loved reading aloud an excerpt with her.)
