Catching up with Among Women… Plus, explore 2 new books this summer!

I’m happy to share some great podcasts from conversations I’ve had in recent weeks with two wonderful authors.

In episode 242 of Among Women, I unpack “holy hacks” which not only assist us in growing in the spiritual life, but it is also the great title of a new book from my guest, Patti Maguire Armstrong, titled Holy Hacks: Everyday Ways to Live your Faith and Get to Heaven. And its one of my favorite books so far in 2019. And that’s saying something.

I also enjoy diving into some of the prayer advice from St. Bridget of Sweden. Don’t miss this episode and try a few new spiritual hacks today!

This next book is a page-turner!

Among Women 243 offers a powerful conversation with Mary Lenaburg, author of Be Brave in the Scared that details her vocation as a wife and mother, with a particular emphasis on the faith and life lessons that accompanied her 22 years as Courtney’s mother. Mary’s daughter lived most of her life with profound disabilities, but her short life made a beautifully profound impact in the lives of those who knew her.

I also spend some time unpacking some of the Bible verses that have been anchors for me in times of fear. Plus I unpack inspiration from St. Teresa of Avila and St. Catherine of Siena. Listen to AW 243 here.
