I’m back with another Among Women Espresso Shot with my continuing series on the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount.
I’m taking the eight beatitudes and unpacking them in three ways:
1) How the beatitude paints a picture of Jesus and reveals his countenance – or shows us a summary of his life.
2) How the beatitude offers a model for us as Christians to live like Jesus.
3) How the beatitude points us to heaven.
In this podcast, I look at the second Beatitude from Matthew 5:4: “Blessed are those who mourn… for they shall be comforted.”
